SyteLine/CSI ERP Unit Configuration

Also known as CloudSuite Industrial (CSI), the Infor CSI/SyteLine ERP system includes unit configuration, which allows you to automatically track subcomponents and parts shipped with your equipment. CSI/SyteLine also tracks replacement parts and add-ons automatically, and allows you to add resolution notes and codes. Once a part is replaced or added, CSI/SyteLine automatically sets/resets the maintenance schedule and warranty period. The unit configuration in CSI/SyteLine includes date and time stamping, as part of a complete history of each unit.

CSI/SyteLine also allows you to track the number of incidents created over time so you can take corrective action. For example, if 100 windshields are replaced because of bad stripping, you may need to issue a recall. CSI/SyteLine allows you to assign a category for incidents and include notes for how the issues were resolved.

The CSI/SyteLine scheduler allows you to schedule service appointments—including those involving external partners—similar to an Outlook calendar so you can track all service calls and know who is where. The visual interface enables drag and drop capability for quick and easy editing.

Creating Unit Configurations

The Unit Configuration Create Utility is used to build the configuration for each unit when the “Auto Create Unit on Shipment” and “Auto Build Unit Configuration” checkboxes are not selected on the Service Parameters form. This utility can be set to run in the background queue, so CSI/SyteLine automatically creates unit configurations for all serial tracked items completed on jobs for that day. The bill of material of the job that created each unit is used to create its configuration.
